The key to winning more deals comes in proper execution.  Doing the necessary work so that a buyer is enabled to make a decision, and make a decision with your company over your competitors.

Buyers are emotional, they are human, and the biggest impact your seller can make on a buyer is by being responsive, and facilitating each step of the journey.  

Providing Visibility to Sales Leaders

Now, sales leaders almost never see the full journey unfold.  They are often buried under dozens of deals and don't have the full visibility unless they do 'ride alongs' on every call, on every deal, with every rep.

Opportunities Created by Month

Opportunity Creation by Month

A simple view that shows Opportunities created each month stacked by the sales rep who created the opportunity.  

Of course you want to see a consistency month over month across all of your reps.  You can even compare creation rates each month agasint a target number.

We recommend focusing on the count of opportunities, not focused on opportunity value.  The reason?  At early stage, your reps dont always have an accuracy on deal size.

Looking at Sales REp Activity

Another key early metric is Sales Activity.  Sales leaders want to get a sense of how active their team is.  From the previous walk through on sales motions, TekStack will automatically create activity records as part of playbooks.  

Sales Managers can see the trends over each month and see the percentage of activities that remain open.  Generally you want to see actviities completed in previous months and the rate of open increasing in future months.

An Expanded view of the chart also allows you to see the records underneath so that you can analyze further.

Switching the chart to show activity by sales rep you can see that Geoff's activity is much greater than Taylor's.  

A sales leader can drill in to each activity record or the related Opportunity.  

They can also filter or sort the view further, for example filter on Geoff's records.
